The C2 e-wheelchair looks like anything but a wheelchair and thus loses its stigma. Maneuverable, usable at home, even in bedrooms and bathrooms. Outdoors at least for smaller and medium movement radii, e.g. to get independently to the supermarket or bakery around the corner.
The C2 is extremely easy to operate and can be disassembled into three parts in a few simple steps and in a very short time. The front tires consist of 24 individually moving rollers that allow tight turns and even turning on the spot. In addition, obstacles up to 5 cm high can be overcome. The C2 has a top speed of 6 km/h and no driver’s license or helmet is required. The C2 is controlled by a fingertip control button and can go forward, backward and sideways. WHILL has equipped the C2 with a rechargeable battery that charges within five hours. A whopping 15 km can be covered on one battery charge.
WHILL has come up with another special feature: the C2 is available in different colors and can be configured according to personal preferences and needs. Parameters such as backrest, seat height and much more can be individually adjusted. In addition, the e-wheelchair can be locked and unlocked by radio transmitter, just like a car. It can be easily dismantled and is therefore perfectly transportable in a car.
Thus, it is clear that this kind of e-wheelchair can help people with various kinds of walking disability. Young and elderly people with conditions such as osteoarthritis, back problems or neurological diseases can use the C2 to discreetly but efficiently to assist them in having a new mobility.
