Clinical investigations involving people who have to, or have had to, rely on crutches because of chronic or long-term problems have enabled us to identify and limit the classic “problem areas”.

The shapes, choice of material, padding and designs were created in close co-operation with orthopaedists, rheumatologists, orthopaedic technicians and a specialist leather processing workshop.

In the development of our orthopaedic crutches, we set great store by teaming simple elegance with a dose of luxuriousness. The feel of elegant leathers combined with various metallic finishes plays a supporting stylistic role. A design instrument in which we found inspiration in, for instance, the interior design of deluxe automobiles, classic sports cars or yachts.

In addition to the available standard combinations, you can also have almost any combination of leather, colours and surface design you would like. You can decide the level of luxuriousness yourself if you like. This gives you the possibility to adapt your crutches to your taste and style, and give them a personal touch.

All of the materials used in our products have their origin in Germany. Our collection is made exclusively using leather from cattle from southern Germany that has been ecologically tanned and dyed using plant substances. This achieves the highest level of skin tolerance, and creates an unbeatably pleasant, warm feeling in direct skin contact.

We apply a special foil to the shaft tube to give our crutches their different looks. Should you want to have a new design after using the crutch for some time, we can easily change the colour or texture of the coating. This gives you the option to adapt the style of your Caredeluxe crutch to changing times.

The height locking position, lower telescope tube guide and the transition from the shaft tube to the leather handle are made of CNC-processed anodised aluminium. These add-on parts are an elegant detail, and complete the exclusive appearance of Caredeluxe crutches.

A Caredeluxe product combines the use of traditional craftsmanship in the processing of exclusive materials and state-of-the-art production metal processing technology in one product. While the majority of the leather processing consists of hand-sewn seams and cuts, the metal components are made on modern, high-precision machines.

Every single step in the finished crutch, from the manufacture of the blanks and the treatment of the leather in the tannery to the hand-made leather cover, the manufacture of precision components and the assembly to the finished product, takes place in Germany, and thus in a socially and ecologically compatible production environment.
